Derek Siu (Shiuehu Siu Eng Hung) was born in 1988 in Kuching, Sarawak with a congenital hearing loss.

He studies graphic design and animation at Limkokwing Institute of Creative Technology, and then proceeded to learn fine arts under the guidance of Sarawak Artist and Sculptor, Mr. Petrus Alfred.

Using acrylic on canvas medium, his artworks mostly feature the cultural diversity of Sarawak.

Derek is constantly practising and seeking improvement on digital arts, as he is an avid fan of Japanese anime and video games.

 He is currently a member of Sarawak Artists Society.
